This is sick! and true and children are being abused today because of this "law" I know of an elder and a MS that abused children in the past. Not sure why that didn't bother me at the time but now it makes my blood boil

How Does Announcing a Reproof of a Child Molester Protect a Congregation ?

on pg.
98 point # 20 it states, " the judicial committee may have specific reasons to believe that the congregation needs to be on guard concerning the repentant wrongdoer.

Taking blood automatically disassociates you?
by lostsheep82 ini don't get how you are disassociated if you take blood, if you are unrepentant according to the elders manual on pg 111. now do they have this same elders manual in bulgaria?.
also if you join a nonnuetral organization you dissasociate yourself automatically.
so i wonder if some poor janitor brother with his own business became an ngo with the un if he would have been cast out!

Taking legal action against the JWs for DFing??? Need serious advice
by 2pink ini posted a thread a bit earlier about our impending judicial committee/dfing for celebrating "false religious holidays".
they have seen decor on the outside of our house, so i guess that is their "evidence" that we engage in false religion now!
my husband and i have talked and are serious about taking legal action against the jws if they try to df us against our will.

Got "THE letter" ....how to proceed?
by 2pink inmy husband and i faded/mysteriously disappeared from meetings over a year ago.
we've had a few visits from elders (where we said very little but thanked them for their time), the last one being when we had some nice jack o lanterns sitting on our porch.
on saturday, we got letters cordially inviting us to our beheading, i mean, our judicial committee meeting.

At Bethel it was at times ordered that you MISS the meetings due to a hot job
by life is to short inthe poster ex dub ms reminded me of something i had forgotten.
at bethel especially in construction if there was a hot job going on or a deadline you missed meetings peroid!
no questions asked.. now if a rank and file husband who was working a low wage job to support his family or a single mom had to miss meetings due to a hot job at work what would happen to them?.

I thought about this too. I even found a lawyer that was willing to help. They were going to Df me for something that wasn't true. Enough time went by that by the time they were going to have my JC I no longer cared and DA myself. I just wanted them to know it was my choice. I didn't get kicked out I wanted out... but if it was a year ago I know i would have sued

Born in well at 5 years of age single Dad got sucked in. He was -is - an alcoholic and didn't have a good job... he was the perfect victim. I always wanted to be a good girl and when I did the right thing I always got so many complements. Baptized at 12 pioneered at 17 married a MS... bla bla bla woke up at around 30. Dads out- my big Brother is IN with his wife and 2 boys.

telling kids 'my story' how honest should i be?
by Aussie Oz ini am writing to my kids.
i have found it a good way to reach them with feelings at times and to let them know what is going on without emotions involved.. i have always told my kids that when and if they ever want to know what happened, ie; why i left their mother and the witnesses all they have to do is ask, and that i would be open and honest.. i feel that i am running out of time with them, esp my son who is so busy working, partying and chasing his girl that i don't see him like i used to.
so busy that he is not thinking and i am sure he will get baptised sooner than later to be in good with his jw girlfriend, and no asking is forthcoming.

There is a line that parents and kids have with sex. I don't know if you have a daughter but she would not like to know details of strippers, maybe the emotional termoil but not explicit details on what went on. just my thoughts
